1. Make the smoothed weight of evidence (SWOE) available in PROC BINNING. I learned that a simulation conducted by SAS Institute showed the SWOE to perform the best across a wide variety of conditions. The SWOE formulae appear on p. 4-18 of the course documentation for the SAS Advanced Predictive Modeling course and the simulation findings are described on pp. 4-10 through 4-11.
2. Support project-building via flow diagrams in Viya as an option in line with the way SAS Enterprise Miner is used. If this feature were to be implemented, I highly recommend enabling control-Z as "undo" (which is not currently available in Enterprise Miner - something I discovered when I accidently deleted the contents of a diagram and could not get the diagram back via undo).
