My boss doesn't like Web report studio reports' layout. He'd like to open reports as web pages and have scroll down menu with the filter variables beside the tables.
Is there any way to do it?
No. Web Report Studio is quite static when it comes to modifying the layout. Nothing compared to what the competition offers (especially SAP).
You can however, its a lot of work, create your own user interface using an STP or the AF framework - but if you want this, you can basically just
code an .net application.
Have you taken a look at BI Dashboard 4.3? You can create prompts on the left side of the page that interact with the content (graphs/tables/etc) on the right side.
