Having an issue this afternoon where users cannot connect to Web Report Studio.   Troubleshooter shows "The remote device or resource won't accept the connection".

WRS was completely restarted, but still same issue. Any thoughts?

The first check should be to remote logon to the SAS Web Server and check that all of the SAS services have been started. If not they should be started.

If you have problems, use this order in restarting your services:

- Metadata Server (if you can't even connect with EG or SMC)

- Object Spawner

- OLAP Server

- SAS Remote Services

- Web Application Server (jboss). WRS is a web app served by the application server

Thank you for the responses. Ultimately it ended up being WebSphere.
