In Web Report Studio, 4.4 M3, I’m trying to display the top 20 objects in descending order.  When I sort descending before ranking the sort works.  When I rank the sort takes no effect.

Please try this:

  1. Right-click the label "Transfer Institution."
  2. On the menu, select Remove All Sorting.
  3. Right-click the label "Transfer Institution" again.
  4. On the menu, select Sort Ascending (or Descending) by First Year Transfer.

Can you post a screen shot that illustrates the issue? I see no issues sorting on a column that has been ranked.

Thanks, it looks like it was double sorted.

I think that the rank automatically applies a sort, so that any subsequent sorts are secondary sorts. Glad that removing all sorting worked!
