We have a category that is a hierarchy (in an OLAP cube). Using filter and rank, we have chosen two values for the filter - one value at the top of the hierarchy, and a second value that is further down the hierarchy. The report shows only one of the chosen values, and not both of them. It shows the value that is further down the hierarchy, and not the value at the top of the hierarchy.

In a previous version of Web Report Studio this worked fine. In our new version - 4.3 - it doesn't seem to be working.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you use any other filters? I've had a similar problem with the combination of a section filter and a filter on a report element in WRS 4.3. This issue was solved when I created a second section filter in the infomap. It looks like WRS has a problem when you combine a section filter with a report element filter.

Thanks for your response. Just checked - not using any section filters.
I have a feeling the category was not built properly in the information map. Getting our team to check that out now.
