My first report has multiple prompts (5).  Once the results are displayed in WRS, the users want be able to link to a second report using 2 of the prompts (vendor & type).  I can get the linking to work with only 1 prompt (vendor), but not more than that.  Was thinking if there was some way to create a concataned column of these 2 prompts (vendor, type) and somehow use this 'behind the scenes'?  Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

THanks

You could save the prompt values to a temporary table and then recover them when needed in the linked reports.  This link shows how to do a single set of prompts for a multi-section report.  Linked reports would use a similar pattern.  You just need to place a stored process in the linked report to recover the saved prompt selections.
