Hi:
I created a calculated member that is based on a measure restricted on certain dimensions. I want the users to see this calculated measure but not the dimension ( anything in it is irrelavant to the user except when used as restriction to the measure). Is there a way to hide dimensions from users?

Thanks,
jp

You can hide a dimension from a user or group of users by denying ReadMetadata permisisons for that dimension. However, if a calculated member or measure is based on this dimension, the user will have to have access to the underlying dimension to consume the calculated member/measure.
