Hi,

Good Afternoon.

I am planning to distribute certain reports through the WRS in an excel format to certain recipients, however the WRS distribution wizard only has an option to send a report in a pdf or html as an attachment.

Could someone suggest any alternative or if there is a plug-in available to distribute in .xls format as an attachment.

Regards,
Tej

There is a batch command line scheduling tool (batchgen.exe) available from Web Report Studio that includes an -outputfile option (when using the mode=Extract).

Not sure if it would work, there is some documentation is located here:

I havent had an opportunity to use this yet, maybe someone else out there could assist if you have trouble with syntax. You might also consider extracting to html or xml and then having the users open the file into EXCEL.
