Dear All,

Need help.

Our process flow requirements.

  1. We are Creating OLAP Cube.
  2. Use it in Information map.
  3. Use info map in WRS and display the Report by using WRS.

Need support in.

1-Display reports with selected columns on user basis (Column level security).

E.G –Tables or Cube or Info map having below all column names.

Region

Office

User

Count_of_Close_cases

Sum of Amount.

Users level are below metioned below

1-State_Level    2-Region_Level   3-Office_level   4-User_Level

A ) While State_level user is login he will see the Reports with Region column only with measures columns.

He should not view the other columns name office & User in the WRS report.

But he can allow to add other columns if he want, But at Display time he should not view others columns.

 Region

Count_of_Close_cases

Sum of Amount.

  1. B) While Region_level user is login he will see the Reports with only below column.

Office

Count_of_Close_cases

Sum of Amount.

We need while user login in WRS he will see selected columns. If he is region level then he will see Offices present in Regions, with their respective measures only.

He should not see the other columns name Region & User in the WRS report.

But he can allow to add other columns if he want, But at Display time he should not view others columns.

  1. C) While Office_level user is login he will see the Reports office column with measures column.

Office

Count_of_Close_cases

Sum of Amount.

  1. D) While User_level user is login he will see the Reports User column with measures column.

User

Count_of_Close_cases

Sum of Amount.

He should not see the other columns name Region & office in the WRS report. But he can allow to add other columns if he want, But at Display time he should not view others columns.

Please suggest the best way to execute this task, how to apply column level security for reports on user level.

Or Is it possible in  OLAP/Infomap/WRS (Column level security)?

SAS Web Report Studio does not support column-level security:

http://support.sas.com/kb/45/094.html

If a report uses a column that a user does not have permission to see then the report cannot be opened at all.
