A portlet with page links or page within page?

Hi:

If someone can help me out with this Portal question:

I am trying to achieve something like when in the portal you go to Options->Preferences you see sort of like a page but on the right side there seems to be tabs ( saying General, Language, etc). How can I get something like this? where each left tab is like a sub area of teh page and contains dash boards?  Is that like an especial type of portlet? can I page contain only portlets>?

Have a look a Saasinct.com 's "Menus Tab porlet", may do what you are asking.
