Hi All,

We are using SAs 2023.3 version in our organization . We are facing few jobs are missing to trigger in schedule  randomly not specific jobs also could notice the missing trigger jobs are not the first jobs in user's schedule. what could be the reason.

You may want to check the logs for the sas-scheduler pod to see if there are any errors.

Hi Greg,

yes , had a look into the scheduler pod log but there is no error for the specific job all could see , run as invalid user id information but confirmed that the user added valid credentials in my credentials SAS environment manager (example user only but this is happening for many ).

Are the failing jobs set to "Run As" a different user? It sounds like the scheduler pod is trying to run the job but failing because the run as user is invalid.

Hi Greg,

yes , the run as option is used, but only the created by user can scheduler as its earlier version of 2003.7 ,users other than admins cannot set other ids  and also these jobs are not failing instead missed to trigger but not all the time  , occasionally missing to run.

Does the sas-scheduler pod indicate it was running during the trigger time?

You may want to engage SAS Technical Support so they can review the log files and schedules.
