Hi All,

There is a requirement to test SAS Viya deployment over a public cloud (other than Azure, AWS and GCP).

How can we can go for that since container image is available only for supported cloud platforms.

The intention is to test everything once deployed successfully.

Thanks.

A SAS deployment in Kubernetes uses many container images which are hosted from the SAS container registry. These are not limited to specific cloud providers.

Thanks gwootton for your response. It means same images can be used to other cloud as well that use Kuberetes service. We understand that this scenario is not well tested by SAS and thus not supported. Pls let me know any other challenge you see other than no SAS support for this excercise

As SAS has tested and supports Open Source Kubernetes, any issues and challenges would be specific to whatever cloud provider you select. Since SAS has not tested it, I can't predict what issues you might encounter.
