SAS Viya adoption

Correct me if I am wrong, but I have an observation that SAS Viya adoption is not that high in comparison to the setup of SAS 9.4 M.x in cloud environments like Azure, GCP, AWS etc. I am curious to know the reason from industry experts and domain specialists and would also be interested to gain tips/advice to help increase SAS Viya adoption.

I suggest you check out SAS Tech Support Policies: https://support.sas.com/en/technical-support/services-policies.html

SAS 9.4 and Viya 3.x only has full support through to the end of 2025. Viya 4 aka 202x.x will be the only fully-supported platform from that date.

 Based on the current policy you will need to switch to Viya 4 in the next 4 years or so anyway if you wish to retain full support.
