How to Create and Manage Groups with Row-Level Filters in SAS Viya 4 (from SAS Studio)

Hi everyone,

I’m working in SAS Viya 4, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to create and manage groups directly from SAS Studio (without using SAS Environment Manager).

In addition to that, is there any way to manage row-level filters on datasets from SAS Studio, such as assigning specific users or groups to see only certain rows based on filtering rules?

Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated.

SAS Environment Manager and the sas-viya CLI's identities plugin are the only supported methods of managing custom groups in Viya.

You can update permissions on CAS tables, including row-level permissions, programmatically in SAS Studio using the updSomeAcs* and repAllAcs* CAS actions.
