We have a Viya 3.3 environment that we are attempting to configure to use Kerberos for passwordless SSH.  We made the recommended changes but now we get errors when attempting to run a cas statement in Studio.

cas sess;

Log:

73         cas sess;
 ERROR: Connection failed. Server returned: Add node failed: Session cannot be created due to add node failure.
 ERROR: Unable to connect to Cloud Analytic Services lnxvmsascasp01.smrcy.com on port 5570. Verify connection parameters and retry.

We've looked through many logs and have a ticket with technical support, but thought we'd ask here in case someone has experienced this before and has tips on figuring out the issue.

@SDV,

As we discussed yesterday, Kerberos authentication isn't supported for the CAS user when you starting the CAS server. You have to use passwordless SSH based on a keys authentication.

I would like to review the most recent CAS server logs (you can find them in /opt/sas/viya/config/var/log/cas/default) from each CAS machine as well as /tmp/cas-tls.log.

I see you're a SAS employee so I uploaded logs to the Tech. Support anonymous FTP upload site as SDVCASlogs_20180611.zip.

Thanks!
