Alert and Email generation in SAS Viya 4

Hi Team,

My query is regarding Alert or Email trigger to be send in case, if any of the Jobs scheduled on SAS Viya 4 gets Failed/Cancelled. Searched on different sites but can not find the exact answer for the same.

This is not currently a feature of Viya Scheduling, so any alerting would need to be done outside of SAS (parsing logs and/or REST APIs) or as part of your code.

@gwootton  - Do you know if such a feature is planned? Existing SAS-supplied schedulers such as LSF with SAS 9 provide this.

Yes this is a planned feature, though I do not know when it will arrive in the released product.
