Hi team,
We're trying to connect to Denodo using Viya Marketplace. However Denodo is on a different suscription. To accomplish this task, we try to create a private link connection. However due the managed node groups have a deny for all principals, we're facing the following error, when we try to create the private endpoint in SAS Viya Resource group. How is the best way to communicate with other databases in sas viya marketplace? How you recommend to face this kind of network issues?
This is the network architecture we're trying to do.
Please let us know if you need further information.
Thank you.
The Microsoft.Network/virtualNetworks/subnets/join/action permission has been added to the allowed customer actions for the managed resource group. Please let me know if you are able to make the cross-subscription connection.
Any update about this question? We're stuck because we cannot communicate with Denodo, please your advise.
Thank you for bringing the issue with the private link connection to our attention. We understand the importance of seamless integration with third-party databases, such as Denodo, especially when they are hosted on different subscriptions. We are conducting a review of the managed node group’s configuration to ensure that the necessary permissions are in place for creating private endpoints within the SAS Viya Resource group. I will provide an update when that review is complete.

Thank you for providing an update. I am glad that you were able to resolve the private link issue. I will take a look at the ODBC connection configuration.
