va password change

HI ,

I Have a unix user, which also have access to login VA. how can we change the password after certain time. i know VA will not prompt for password change.

Is it possible if we install SAS PERSONAL MANAGER in business user pc, Can B.user can change the password if not what is the alternative? there is no active directory setup in this configuration.

SAS Personal Login Manager can only change passwords for internal (metadata-only) users. Password changes of UNIX users must be done on the OS level (passwd).

Likewise, password policies need to be enforced on the OS level.
