table column totals truncated

My column totals truncate even though there is enough space for them to diplay.  The totals appear even if in report viewer I make the column width SMALLER.  How can I get totals to display properly in report designer so that my end user does not have to play with the column width to see the totals?

We are having the same issue. Everytime the sum of a column changes it gets hidden (shifted to the right) and user needs to change the column width to get the total/sum value displayed. Any work idea on how to fix this? We are using SAS 7.3
