(Filter) Period : 01 May - 05 May
values for 2016 > 10 5 0 5 7 ie cumulative 10 15 15 20 27
values for 2015 > 11 6 5 0 8 ie cumulative 11 17 22 0 30
How can I chart above mentioned cumulative values in a line chart
Hi
add a new data item like below and use this in your line chart. Using the RightMouseButton on any item is always a good idea to explore what is possibe.
The graph will look then like
Bruno
Thanks Bruno,
I've tried that, but when the period exceeds one month ie at 01 values are cumulating for different months ie 01 may + 01 june which is shouldn't be...
I guess there no sas date format which gives only date and month 01May, 01Jun..( we can sub-string but then it will loose its sorting)
I have also tried to crate a calculated item DayofYear(0-365 items) but again it cumulate different years there..(which works for non aggregated measure)
Any alternative.
Thanks again for your help.
for what is worth I am attaching both linear trend and cummulative trend charts which i'm able to generate.
But I'm not able to generate combination of these two.
ie I want overlapping cumulative value for dayofyears
+ period to date gives me cumulation for all values till that date but I want start date to be specific.
Hi Bruno,
I applied your method to chart a cumulative period measure and duplicate date field used in the cumulative period function and formatted that as Day of Year.
It was working perfectly just a couple of week ago but not working anymore. I get missing values now. Nothing has changed in our SAS VA environment so I'm perplex to why I'm not getting the correct output anymore.
Do you know if this is still working for you?
Thanks in advance on any help you can provide.
Andrew
