We are considering to upload some SAS VA dashboards to the client internet portal. What required to be installed on the client portal server? Thanks.

VA dashboards require the full SAS Visual Analytics server infrastructure for them to work. You can't upload them to some other web server except as static screenshots. Why not provide links on the client portal server to the required VA dashboards?

Thanks for the suggestion. If provide link on the client portal server, what kind of permission has to be created on SAS Visual Analytics server? The SAS Visual Analytics server currently is for internal. Thanks.

@Dee2 - Most likely you would need to apply new port firewall rules to your SAS servers to allow connections from your client portal server. Also you would need to ensure that anonymous guest access is enabled on the VA reports as users linking via the portal wont be defined in SAS metadata.

I would recommend that you perform a full security assessment as you will be opening your SAS servers to be accessible from the public internet, even if it is in a very limited way.  You should be guided by your company's IT security standards and policies.

Thanks you. But opening the SAS server to the public most likely won't allow.

@Dee2  - In that case you wont be able to show live VA dashboards via your portal server. Publishing static reports captured from VA would be your only option then.
