Hi All,
We are getting the below error message while opening some big reports in SAS VA Designer 7.4.
[FaultEvent fault=[RPC Fault faultString="error" faultCode="Channel.Call.Failed" faultDetail="NetConnection.Call.Failed: HTTP: Status 504"] messageId="EB00CA3F-7667-C6ED-D952-913A4F39633F" type="fault" bubbles=false cancelable=true eventPhase=2]
Kindly suggest if we have to change the timeout value in some file.
Firstly I would check VA's Environment Manager and see if there have been any alerts over the same period as your errors.
Is this an intermittent problem or are you always getting this error for the same big reports?
This SAS Note is relevant even though you are probably using a different VA version: http://support.sas.com/kb/53/801.html
504 is a gateway timeout. You can use the instructions in this SAS note to perform network tracing, and then ask your admins to review.

Hi,
Thanks for the response.
I have already done the activemq step , it didnt worked.
The error is coming consistently on chrome and firefox , in IE most of the time it opens without error except for 1 or 2 times.
Can we increase some timeout values for VA any specific files , please suggest.
This is unlikely to be coming from Visual Analytics. It is probably a network timeout. Perform the network tracing steps explained in this SAS note and ask your admin to review the results:
