Syncing Report Data whilst using SAS Viya 25.09 (Visual Analytics)

I have been working on a SAS Visual Analytics report - I have been making a few changes to my report data and when I either try and refresh (or replace the report dataset) some of the categories are creating duplicates . Upload to CAS is as follows.   

cas retention;

proc casutil;
	droptable incaslib="CASUSER" 
	casdata="freecover_ret_ea" quiet;
	load data=shrdat.ea_rc_fc_metrics2  
	outcaslib="CASUSER"
	casout="freecover_ret_ea" 
	promote;
quit;

quit;

cas retention terminate;

If you look at the following screenshot you see both account_id and ancillary_product have duplicated when the dataset has been refreshed or replaced.  Unfortunately I cannot share the specific data due to privacy/sensitivity. 

It is possible to delete one of the dupes (and VA dynamic menu only allows one to be deleted) however I am trying to get a better understanding of why this is happening and the best way to manage this going forward. The delete one of the dupes seems like a workaround not a fix.

Hi ed_hcf, 

Do the duplicated data items have the same format as the other? If not, this seems like something for SAS Technical Support.

@NithinRamu thanks for your reply. Yes they are the same format - it is the same data variable just reloaded. There seems to be something when a variable is already being used in an object this can trigger the duplication issue.

@ed_hcf - Could the reason for the duplication be two different variables with the same variable label? You can check this by running PROC CONTENTS on shrdat.ea_rc_fc_metrics2

@SASKiwi   It is the same variable name but I am using labels. I will try SAS tech support and post the reply here. Thanks for your reply
