Slider dynamic min/max not working with report control

I have already submitted this to SAS support but need to go live with this dashboard tomorrow so I'm hoping someone here has encountered this and perhaps knows of a fix.

I am using a Visual Analytics 7.5 and am having an issue with the dynamic minimum/maximum behavior of a date slider. When an additional page control filter (dropdown box) is selected, the date slider correctly resets the dynamic minimum and maximum. However, when that same dropdown box is placed in the report prompt area, the dynamic minimum and maximum do not change when the data is filtered. It actually works perfectly in report builder, but is broken in report viewer.

I know I have the workaround of placing the dropdown in the page control for every single page, but that's more onerous for the user and I would prefer to go with the report filter if possible.

The fact that it works in the Report Builder but not in the Viewer strongly indicates this is a bug and so will require a fix. Not a quick solution unfortunately. Please post back the feedback from Tech Support.

We're going to give that a shot and hopefully that will fix it.

We applied the hotfix recommended by SAS support and that appears to have done the trick.
