Hi,

When scheduling a data query as "run now" I often get the following issue.

"Cannot schedule the query. The scheduler is not connected."

I have tried different alternative steps before trying to schedule the report but haven't been able to find a sequence of steps that always allow the query to be scheduled. For example:

Save / Run preview / schedule as "run now".

Any help much appreciated. Using 7.3. Thanks.

There are a couple of notes that discuss that message. For an intermittent issue, it is usually the network connection.

It can also be that the midtier cannot communicate with the port used by the Operating System Services.
