Please make sure to follow the installation instructions thoroughly.
Can you explain your situation?
If you're a company please contact SAS Sales.
If you're a student check your University and you're also eligible to use the learning edition of SAS - SAS University Edition.
It does not have access to actual databases, such as SQL server, since it's intended as a learning environment.
I have understood there is a SAS app for data analysis and I need to know how to download the app if you have it available

Thank you very much!! I got what I need
Hi,
if you work for a company, the download of SAS University edition is a good option to learn, or even try part of the SAS software, but please keep in mind that if you use SAS for processing data with commercial purposes, you will need yo buy SAS, at least the most basic package.
FYI: http://support.sas.com/software/products/university-edition/
Literally:
"SAS University Edition includes the SAS products Base SAS®, SAS/STAT®, SAS/IML®, SAS/ACCESS® Interface to PC Files, and SAS® Studio. Teachers, students, adult learners, and academic researchers can access the SAS University Edition software for noncommercial learning purposes. You can download SAS University Edition for free, directly from SAS. After you download it to your PC, Mac, or Linux workstation, SAS works locally on your machine by using virtualization software and your browser, so no Internet access is required. Or you can get SAS University Edition for free via AWS Marketplace (AWS usage fees may apply). The software runs in the cloud - all you need is a browser and an Internet connection. For more information, visit SAS University Edition at www.sas.com."
This means, that SAS University edition won't allow you to connect to any database, only Microsoft Office files and SAS datasets. (SAS/ACCESS® Interface, is the component for the access to data origins).
It is also good to keep in mind that, as SAS University edition purpose is learning, it does not have all the procedures you might need.
In any case, I would advise you to contact SAS, so you can get a good overview of the SAS Software and SAS can identify which would fit better to your requirements.
