Hello,

When I used Data Preparation to create a data query, I tried to save the data query as an output table (the output table name has been specified), I click File->Save As, the type of the file is Visual Data Query, I didn't find any options to save this as a table instead of data query. After I saved this data query, I tried to open it in Report Designer tab, but it won't allow me to open it.  Could you please let me know how I can save the data query table as a table, so that I can use it in Report Designer?  Thanks you!

To create the Output table, you must Run the query. You cannot save the query as a table.

Click this button to run the query:

Hello,

Thanks for your reply, I am just wondering if this information is in User Guide 7.4.
