HI
is there a posibility to etablish a dependency between two lists (not dropddown lists) in the prompt container?
Thanks
Hi
You can define interaction for object which are in the Canvas area. This is also true for object within a prompt container.
Report objects in the Section- or Report-Prompt area do not support interactions, as they are build in.

Hi Bruno
thanks for your statement.
I'll try it this way

Hi Sterntaler,
There are no direct interactions possible between control objects in the section filter, report filter or prompt containers as Bruno says. They won't show up in the interactions view. But there are ways to create interactions between these control objects by using parameters and filters. If you assign a parameter to a dropdown list (control object 1), the selection fills the parameter, and that parameter can be used to filter control object 2.
However, the list is the only control object that does not allow a parameter to be assigned. This is probably because it allows multiple selections by default, but even when you disable that and change the list to a radio button list, it will not allow a parameter to be assigned. So the interaction between lists as you request is not possible.
But if you can replace the first list with a dropdown list, you might be able to create the dependency you're looking for using parameters and filters.
Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Lodewijk
