Hi Guys,
Is there any tips and tricks to create Date parameter on Slider object? Actually my requirement is to interact between slider and text input objects which i can pass the slider value (i.e Date) in text input object.
My Date format is : 01 January 2016 to onwords
Regards,
Sunny Kumar Gupta
Hi @SKG,
Parameters can only support numbers and categories (not dates), and slider controls only support numbers, so the intersection is only numbers, but formating dates as numbers is is not going to be user friendly. If you haven't done it yet, I'd recommend you checking my article about date parameters here: https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Communities-Library/Date-parameters-in-SAS-Visual-Analytics/ta-p/... for some ideas.
I hope it helps.
Best,
Renato
