When you create a new report jobemail id must be stored in metadata to distribute itHow to store email id in meta data
Hi ksachar,
To register e-mail addresses in metadata so that you can distribute reports, you'll need to use SAS Management Console. There's some overview information in About User Administration. And, there are step-by-step instructions for adding users in the SAS Management Console: Guide to Users and Permissions.

Joy
An emai id can be local right? like myname@companyname.com?

Any valid email address can be used.
Thanks for replying @SASKiwi.
@akash_wankh, the SAS Management Console doc for users and permissions that I linked to in my previous post, which has step-by-step instructions, has moved to here: http://go.documentation.sas.com/?docsetId=mcsecug&docsetTarget=n05epzfefjyh3dn1xdw2lkaxwyrz.htm&docs....

Hi @ksachar,
If you have many SAS Visual Analytics users that you need to synchronise their email address with Active Directory, you may want to look at Metacoda Identity Sync Plug-in which can make it easier to manage and maintain your identities and their email addresses. There is some further information and screenshots in this blog post - http://www.metacoda.com/en/2015/05/metacoda-identity-synchronization/
Kind Regards,
Michelle
