While sharing report via email do we need to specify report owner email id in sas metadata.By default it shows email id something like "From SAS alert..".

Please assist.

The Sender of the distributions is the email account specified as the Sender of messages in the Notifications settings for the SAS Application Infrastructure. The person who sent the distributions is indicated in the email itself, i.e., the Distribution Owner.

The person who is sending the distributions must be in metadata in order to use Visual Analytics, but I do not believe that person requires an email address. Of course, no one would be able to send distributions to that person.
