Hello everyone,

We have an issue in SAS Visual Data Builder while trying to create a new object by joining two tables. After adding the tables, setting up an inner join on ID columns, and selecting the necessary columns, we encountered an error when attempting to preview the data:

QueryFailureException: WARNING: Your system is scheduled to expire on January 30, 2024, just 5 days from now. The SAS System will no longer function, type=WARNING, lineNumber=16, applicationNam

The same error popped up during validation.

After checking the logs, we found no errors, only this license warning.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? Thank you.

Looks like this is a known bug: https://support.sas.com/kb/64/637.html

What version of VA are you using?

This looks like a software bug to me. The licence expiry warning is being misinterpreted and causing a query failure exception. You'll need to open a Tech Support track to get this investigated further.

That's the version reported in the SAS Note I posted the link for. There's a hot fix for it.
