Hi All,

I am new to DDC object and wanted to implement a scenario where end user selects a record in list table and that list table has one uniqie id which will be passed as a parameter to and trigger the backend code to dynamically calculate the value and refresh the dashboard with new values.

Backend sas code for calculation logic is implemented wanted to understand how to incorporate this parameter value into the sas code and how to trigger the sas code.

Immediate response will be highly appreciatable.

Regards,

Anurag Rai

Hey Anurag! Check out Renato Luppi's article: Using parameters with Data-Driven Content in SAS Visual Analytics. There is also an SGF 2021 paper where @acordes discusses passing data from Visual Analytics into DDC in order to run back-end SAS code. Check out the second half of the video and paper here: Modernizing Scenario Analysis with SAS Viya and Visual Analytics.

Hope this helps!
