Hello SAS VA experts!
I have a question regarding values comparison over a time. I mean I have a very simple data: number of transactions and dates of transactions (aggregated for example by month). I would like to present on the chart how the number of transactions varies by month compared to the same month in different year, for example: in January 2022 I had 200 transactions and in January 2023 I had 300 transactions, so we have rising trend. Is there a simple way to do that?
Many thanks in advance!
Filip
You don't mention the version but I believe periodic calculations have been available for a while. If you right-click the measure and select New calculation, you should see the periodic options in the drop-down list.

Hi @Madelyn_SAS ,
Cool, I didn't know that functionality, it looks great! Thanks a lot!
By the way, do you know how I can visualize such measure in a pretty, user-friendly way?
Best,
Filip
