It seems, that if you select precision-mode for your section and not side by side, then you can still work with VA !!
The latest release of Adobe Flash Player (26.0.0.126) causes problems with Customer Intelligence client (flash based) as well.
Mouse actions (zoom, selection) do not work.
I'm also facing the same problem with Data Builder, unable to select the Table, Column and any other drag events.
I've installed the Adobe Flash Player v17 and still issue is persisting.
Any updates to resolve this would be very helpful.
We've worked around problem for now by uninstalling latest Flash, installing version 25 from https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html, and using Firefox.
This has allowed SAS VA via Firefox to work as normal, but you can't force Chrome (and possibly IE) to use a previous version.
Yeah, I've done the same and currently its working fine with firefox.
thanks for the tip, this is a workaround so users can continue!
We've come across the same problems in SAS VA today as well, with the addition of not being able to tick more than one filter at a time in a prompt container without closing the container first in Report Viewer.
On the report designer issues, I can click and drag another item into the report (object or data) after deleting an object in the report (has to be deleted, won't work if cancel out of that dialog)

Does anyone know of a way to start the public and lasr servers manually (without the flash tool)? Maybe with Management Console or code?
I switched everything to modern so users can view their reports but I can’t start the servers without the flash tool, ha ha.
thanks,
Dave
You can do that with code, this link might be helpful.
Check this one as well
yep, thanks for this feedback. My client is now crying 😉
As well as the Firefox solution using v25.x of NPAPI flash player and 'Precision' workaround.
I also note that uninstalling Windows update KB4022730 (on Windows 10) reverts IE11's and Edge's flash player to v22.0.0.0209.
This also appears to workaround the issue (although I accept that it may not be desirable to go back to such an early version of the flash player for many).
SAS has been working with Adobe on this issue. Adobe has identified the bug that causes this issue, and they are currently testing a fix for this bug. We will provide updates as we get more information on the fix.

Note that Microsoft hasn't yet signed/approved the release for IE and Edge on Windows 8 and 10 (and apparently also relevant for Windows Server 2012). The impact also seems to occur in the current release 26.0.0.120 on these environments.
