What is LASR abbreviation or full form? why it has named as LASR..is there any technical meaning for it.?

This has been discussed in another thread.
The conclusion was that it wasn't a abreviation, perhaps just a cool "word". I mean, lasers are awsome, right?

I've been told LASR doesn't stand for anything.
I guess SAS had to come up with some name for the VA in-memory server that does the smart work, and this word hadn't been used, and it sounds modern and sharp!
