Hi,

I've been having a hard time making an interaction between two sections in SAS VA. The datas from the different sections all came from the same source yet, whenever I making an interaction, it shows no changes at all. How can I make it work? Please help. Thanks.

Thanks Jeano for providing the screenshot. So it seems that you have a Section link only from the Bar Chart 3 (2) (1) object. The Section link will only happen when you double-click on a bar from this bar chart. Remember it is not a single click. A single click will filter your Bar Chart 3 (2) object. Are you double-clicking on a bar in Bar Chart 3 (2) (1)?

Kind Regards,

Michelle

Without seeing what you have done via a screenshot or an explanation of how you've set up your section interaction, it is difficult to know what may be the issue. You mention, it shows no changes at all. What do you mean by this? Is it that when you double click on the source object for the section link it doesn't link to the other section, filtering the data. Maybe you are single clicking?

Please elaborate further on what is not working for you and if possible provide screenshots of your interaction view.

Kind Regards,

Michelle

Hi Ma'am,

My apologies on this since it is my first time posting a question here. What I am currently doing is a bar graph wherein when I click on a particular item in the graph, the succeeding graphs linked to it should act on what I clicked. I included a screenshot of my interaction window for your reference.

It worked!! I was not double clicking on the bar chart itself. Thank you so much!
