Hello,

I’m trying to import a delimited file (by “;”) into SAS VA 8.4 (under Viya). The numerical values are using the European style “,” (commax) as decimal separator. So, when importing, it does not take the comma into account. Is there any option that I could set (like the Locale) to change the informat to Commax?

Thanks

The Import Local File window includes a Locale field. That is what you use to specify the locale for your file. For example, fr-FR. This should enable special characters like commas to be interpreted based on the locale.
