Hi,

I just want to know in addition to importing a Teradata table via SAS VA, can we import a Teradata view using the GUI option in VA?

One of my users have created a TD view, but when she is trying to import that via VA, she can't see it. She can see TD tables but is unable to see the View.

Kind regards,

Try running LIBNAME in SAS EG or PC SAS or SAS Studio or Teradata SQL Assist and check whether those views can be accessed or not. If not then something to do with access permissions for the user.

If yes then SAS VA can also read those views. Instead of typing the view names while importing try browse to see the tables or views. If your user name contains then special characters then use quotes.

Note: Make sure the server, schema and other credentials to access the views are correct.
