How to grant or restrict User access to Reports in SAS VA 7.4

I am new to SAS Visual analytics. I want to know how to restrict user access for Reports in SAS VA. At Present i am using 7.4 version.

My needs :

1.A login page is compulsory where only authorized user is allowed to login .Based on the user role and access,  Reporting  Dashboard would be accessible

2.The ADM users up to managers will be only able to view the projects part of their assigned Portfolio only. Leadership will be able to view all projects across Portfolios.

Please suggest how i can  apply above changes .

Access to VA reports is controlled by the permissions set on the metadata folders where the VA reports are stored. This is not a simple topic and I would recommend SAS's VA training courses as the best way to learn about this. Alternatively you could use external SAS experts to implement your security requirements.
