Hi,

Anyone knows how to hide users folders "My folder" from the user when the user browse for report in report viewer. I want to hide such that the users are unable to see their respective personal folder.

Hi XinYong,

 

Is there a specific reason why you want to hide the users "My folder"? If your VA users are also using other SAS applications hiding them could have a impact to them using other SAS clients.

Hi Michelle,

I was trying to hide this folder cause some users feedback that its
confusing for them and hope that it can be hidden. Btw can i know what is
the impact that might occur?

Hi XinYong,

 

As I mentioned before, it depends on whether your users use other SAS client applications and save content in their My Folder area. It also depends on how you plan to hide it, deleting it is not advised. You might find the following references to help with your impact question:
