I want to build a filter that uses two different data items ("Form 7 Warrant" and "Form 21 Warrant").  I only want those records where

 

    "Form 7 Warrant" = "Issued" or "Form 21 Warrant" = "Issued". 

 

However, I can seem to do this in the filter advanced editor.  Any suggestions?

Hi!

I tested this in VA8.3.1 and for me it's working.

My folrmula in the advaced filter:

 

(  'Primary Labour Group'n StartsWith 'E') OR ( 'Ship Year'n = '2015' )

 

Using a test dataset in my viya installation called 'COSTCHANGE'

Yes, thanks, I was just doing it wrong.  I had pre-selected one data item before I tried to build the query and then I couldn't select any other data items.  If I build the query without pre-selecting a data item, they're all available to me in the query builder.
