Hello All,

I had my work saved in a VA Report long ago. I was accessing the same when the report said data not found. LASR Services were restarted and the data required for VA was expected to be auto loaded, but it didnt happen and when I navigated to SAS LASR Tables in SAS VA Admin, following error occurred.

We are using SAS 7.4 in SAS 9.4 Environment.

Kindly let me know what other information is needed.

Thanks in Advance,

Anjali

@AnjaliNair ,

  • Is there is a load balancer in front of the middle tier?
  • If yes, is there a firewall in between the load balancer and middle tier, or in between any of the Visual Analytics servers in your environment?

Anyway, you need to enable an Adobe Flash Player debugger in order to get additional logs:

1. Enable Adobe Flash Player debugger as described in this SAS note

http://support.sas.com/kb/57/579.html

Here is how to determine an appropriate location for mm.cfg?

Open a Command Prompt in Windows and execute this command:

echo %HOMEDRIVE%\%HOMEPATH%

Note what this returns.  This is where the mm.cfg file needs to be created.

Create the mm.cfg file in that location and put ensure it only includes these two lines:

ErrorReportingEnable=1
TraceOutputFileEnable=1

Save the file.

2. If the Browser is open, close it and reopen it, then recreate the problem.   Once you actually access the VA Flash application the first time after turning on logging, a log should be generated at that point in the C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\Logs folder.

3. Send to me for further investigation:

  • A time when you have reproduced a problem
  • Screenshot with an error
  • Adobe Flash Player Log
