Hi,
When I am trying to import an Excel dataset from local disk to SAS VA, I got the error message below... do youo know which SAS component is required for this step?
Thanks.
Best,
Yiting
You have to log in to SAS Viya server via SSH and run that command. If you do not know how to do that, please ask your SAS Administrator.
Ah, thank you! I dont know how to do that… I dont even know who my SAS Adminstrator is... 😄
Is it a Component that I should have installed when installing SAS but did not install? Can I install it by going back to the installation stage?
Correct. That package should be installed during the initial install, but for some reason, it wasn't installed.
Thanks a lot for help!
Hi, I dont find cdfbase… which one should i install here?
That list is from SAS 9.4. Your screenshot is from SAS Viya. The following command could help you find a package on SAS Viya server:
sudo yum search cdfbase
Thanks, where shall i run it?
sudo is not recognized as internal or external command...
I did not install SAS VA, i used it web-based...
You need to find out who installed and manages your SAS Viya server. They can help you with package installation.
