Drop down lists - do not show 'clear filter' option

Hi all,

I was wondering f there was a way to hide the 'clear filter' option from a drop down list, so that only the categories are shown and the aggreagated view is not an option. The reason for this is that I'm not wanting to show the combined 3 month view; I only want to show the data for each individual month. I would then choose the default to be the most recent month.

I can answer my own question here.

I see this can be achieved by selecting the 'required' option on the properties tab.
