Hi,

when I run a Report Distribution in Sas Visual Analytics 7.3 I receive this error:

"com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 550 5.7.60 SMTP; Client does not have permissions to send as this sender"

If I send by email the same report with the same user the system works fine.

Con you help me?

Thanks

Marco

Do you use Office365 as your SMTP server?

Yes. I use Office 365 as SMTP Server

I cannot explain why distribution would fail but email would work, but we have seen this particular error when Office 365 is being used. I think it is worth looking at the information in this link:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_outlook/smtp-relay-error-550-5760-client...

550 5.7.60 SMTP; Client does not have permissions to send as this sender.

For example, if you entered login credentials for sales@contoso.com in your application settings, but the application tries to send emails from salesperson1@contoso.com, this is not supported. For this scenario, use Office 365 SMTP relay instead.

Thanks.

Do you know the user used by SAS Visual Analytics where I run a Report Distribution?

Marco
