Distinct Count as Parameter

Is there a way to assign the distinct count for an entire data set to a parameter?

I am not sure it is what you want, but I manage to do this by assigning the distinct count meassure to a range slider and assign a parameter to that slider....:)

I then created a calculated meassura that used the parameter.
