Crosstab column subtotals height increases in view mode (7.4 version)

Hello experts,

after some investigation, I could not find out the reason (and solution) of this annoying behavior of the displaying crosstab subtotals in VA 7.4. 

While in edit mode, the crosstab totals are displayed correctly with a height which I consider right. When I change to view mode the crosstab height (of only subtotals) increase to double without any apparent reason and it doesn't look good as the height of the subtotal will be 2x the height of the other rows (screenshot).
