Hello Everyone,

        In SAS Enterprise Guide, I constructed a stored process that I then imported into SAS VIYA and turned into a viya job. I make that job able to download the excel file after doing some code changes. In order to allow other users to download the report to their devices, I now want to use this job in my sas visual analytics dashboards.

To do that I'm using URL of this job in web content object of sas va.

Now my concern is the title of this report showing the path of stored process where I saved it(Snapshot Attached). Can we edit that For user understanding? Also the content shown in image of prompts, Can we put that in the centre of the report?

Additionally, the report I getting of it is in another tab called 'Results'. Can we do anything to open in the same report?

 Furthermore, I have to right-click the _webout.xlsx file in order to get the spreadsheet file. Why isn't it downloading instantly when I click on it?(Snapshot Attached)

 @Stu_SAS Thanks for helping.

Hi,

I've been looking at your request. SAS Visual Analytics offers different options to use Viya Jobs. Each option has pros and cons.

You can use the Web Content object. It will display the results of the job when executed. This object is not designed to receive parameters and data from the SAS Visual Analytics report.

You can use Job Content object (depending on your SAS Visual Analytics version). That object gives the opportunity to call a job and to define the parameters from the prompts when you define the properties of the object. It means that you set the parameters once during report design.

If you want to get the most flexibility in your integration, you can use the Data-Driven Content object. This object will receive parameters and data from the report and handle them. There is though no magic for handling the data. It should be done in a web page which can then call a Viya Job.

This last option offers the most flexibility, but requires a bit of HTML/JavaScript knowledge. You can find examples in different articles about the Data-Driven Content object.

Let me know if you need help figuring out how to proceed.

Regards,

Xavier
