Hi All,

I am trying to build a data model in SAS VA 9.4 using Lasr star schema data preparation.

I want to match the data type of columns from which I can join two tables.

I am unable to change the data type for required columns.

One way I can do this by preparing that table in the data query and change its format, which is a lengthy process.

Is there any other way?

In my experience it is far easier to prepare data to be loaded into LASR using traditional SAS coding techniques, including getting data types consistent. That way you have an exact copy of the LASR load table outside of LASR which is really useful for reference purposes.
